It’s a wrap!

If you are in a rush to get to work and you have not prepared your outfit the night before, just grab a wrap dress. You’ll be ready in a snap. This feminine, alluring and chic dress is so flattering! Thanks to Diane von Furstenberg who introduced this style in the 70s. The one that I’m wearing is made of jersey, so it resists wrinkling and is perfect for work and travel. I put the look together with metallic pumps (to light up the outfit) and a structure bag of a neutral color. The pattern of the bag bring chic to this relatively simple outfit. I tightened the waist with a burgundy leather belt that echo the color of the dress for an even more flattering fit. A brown leather belt would also had been nice since it would match the color of the bag. Although I already have a few wrap dresses in my closet, I put the DVF Evita dress on my Fall list. This classic dress is a good investment. It is made of Diane von Furstenberg signature silk jersey fabric, which is not only wrinkle free but “feels as soft as pajamas”, says the designer on her website. It is true. Can’t wait to wrap myself in it!
