What is it about a floral dress that makes me feel more feminine in a snap and a little bit happier? Is it just me or do you feel the same way? I don’t know if it’s the romance effect of fall hues or if it’s the cut and simplicity often associated with this print. Whatever it is, floral dresses are definitely a must-have in my wardrobe.

I wore this beautiful dress from Era Vintage Wear last year (notice the longer hair) with suede boots and bag to recreate a boho look of the ’70s. Love this dress so much. Every time I’m wearing it, I don’t want to take it off. But eventually, the clothing has to come off. Ooh, Well – at least that makes my husband happy! This LFD, aka Little Floral Dress, is a vintage piece, which means you can’t get the exact same, but I have linked below some of my other favorite floral print dresses. Prepare yourself for an inspiration overload.
I know it’s Fall season, but I’m already wishing for spring to come so I’ll be able to wear these kimono-like dresses over pants and jeans. Here’s a tease of Johanna Ortiz’s spring 2018 collection.
One more kimono-like dress from Johanna Ortiz… It’s not a floral print but the ruffles and unmistakable romantic sway about this garment got me dreaming… A lot!

All of these beautiful items are available for pre-order at M’oda ‘Operandi. Note: They are very pricy. I am showing them to you for a drip of inspiration. So you can look for more affordable items with similar romantic details.

Junya Watanabe
The creations of this avant-garde designer are always on my watch list. He has a way of transforming ordinary clothing into extraordinary. Here’s an example. This open-back floral-print georgette dress is just drop dead gorgeous! At $286.50, it is an item I could add to my wardrobe. It’s presently sold out, but will be back in stock shortly. Patience dear, patience…

Micheal Kors
He knows how to dress women and make them look sexy, yet elegant. This purple cold-shoulder dress is more than just eye candy! Now for CAN $129
And this one will make every female colleagues at your office green with envy. MICHAEL Michael Kors’ ‘Cole’ dress is printed with hundreds of tiny blooms in garden green tones. Cut from chiffon, it has a flattering smocked bodice that softly flares out at the waist and falls to a tiered skirt. $175.
These floral sequined Jeans are lovely too. On sale at $199.

Tory Burch
Lastly, this beautiful dress from Tory Burch, one of my go-to designer. This runway style is crafted in satin with metallic threads and features a plunging neck with ties that fall past the waist and voluminous sleeves with buttoned cuffs. Luuuve it!

Thanks Angie. It’s an old photo from last year. I had long hair. Mine are not as beautiful as yours though. Thank you for your lovely comment. Have a great week.

Yes, totally! I love floral prints, and love incorporating them no matter the season. In the end, the colours and cuts of the pices can allow you to pull off florals even in autumn or winter

Thanks Tim. The floral dress I’m wearing on the pic is a vintage one. The others, I wish I could buy one of them. Fingers crossed. Still looking for a kimono-like dress at an affordable price.
