Girls’ pajama parties! Ideal moments to relax, laugh and make natural masks. I think it’s one of the most beautiful memories of my adolescence. Slouch on the couch with candy while listening to girly music (read, music that makes you cry) with face and hair coated with honey, oats, avocado, eggs, bananas… Name it, I think I have tried all the recipes of homemade masks.
Nowadays, I eat these products more often than I use them for pamper time. But the 100% natural face mask with honey, coconut oil and lemon has always been part of my beauty ritual. It only takes a few minutes to prepare it and it’s effective. The benefits of these ingredients have been known for a long time. Combined, they offer a healthy and economical alternative to commercial masks. The soothing and fragrant mask that I propose hydrates the skin in addition to tighten the pores and lighten the complexion. All this in no time! It is perfect when you have a rather dull look caused by a lack of sleep.
Recipe For A Natural Face Mask with honey, coconut oil and lemon
1 teaspoon of organic coconut oil, 1 tablespoon of liquid honey and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, a citrus fruit with antioxidant properties. You can also add a few drops of aloe vera gel. Apply to the skin and leave on for 15 to 20 minutes. Rinse with water.
After this relaxing moment, enjoy your evening and do whatever you want. Sleep, do a Netflix series marathon, read a good book or put the music very loud and dance on your own in your living room like Tom Cruise in Risky Business. In your underwear or not, the euphoric effect is guaranteed!
If you want more ideas for homemade masks, see Mia’s blog. Her honey mask recipe is a little different than mine and you’ll find seven other options of 100% natural masks. Note that her blog is available only in French. But you can easily paste the recipe you like into Google translate.

It’s better if you use organic coconut oil but the regular oil is OK too. Thanks for your visit Sonja. Have a great week.

Absolutely loved it. I have coconut oil in the kitchen and I am not using it for cooking because I find the taste strong but coconut lemon and honey sounds like a treat for the skin. Thank you so much for sharing this amazing recipe. Have a lovely week. xoxo Cris
