Pink Please!

I am currently crushing for vibrant pink and this lovely off-the shoulder dress from J. Crew has me crushing hard. I usually wear soft pink or pops of bright pink accessories with neutral clothing. As much as I like colorful prints, I normally shy away from dresses in bubble-gum color. Don’t want to look like a Barbie girl!
But in my search of a dress for a friend’s wedding in July, I came upon this J. Crew dress. When I tried it, it was perfect. It’s so out of my comfort zone but I am happy I gave it a try. The A-line cut is super silhouette flattering and the off-the-shoulder very feminine and trendy.
The wedding is in the Estrie, which is about two hour drive from Montreal, so my husband and I planned to stay there for the weekend. It’s so lovely up there. Plus, it will give us a chance to spent time with each other (read: away from the kids). My luggage is ready!

After the wedding, I will pair the dress with mules and a denim jacket to tough it up a bit. It will be perfect for afternoon brunches.

    1. Thank you Cris. Love pink too but don’t usually wear vibrant pink like this. There is a first time for everything! Plus, I love trying new things…
