My friend Sophie over at Sophie’s Corner has nominated me for this challenge. I’m thrilled because I love B&W pictures. I see colour in their shadows. Me being * cough Me (which means I had to do this a little differently) I made a change to the rules (Eh, only one. I’m getting less rebellious, aren’t I?) So I’m posting all of my pics in one blogpost. You can send me to the corner if you want, Sophie. If it is YOUR corner I will gladly go without any complaints. 😀
The rules are: Seven days. Seven black and white photos of your life. No people. No explanation. Challenge someone new each day.
I want to point out that there is absolutely no obligation to take part in this challenge. Also, if I haven’t directly challenged you but you want to have a go at this then be my guest!
Day 1 nominee is Sarah (because I just luvvvv her pictures)

Day 2 nominee is Shreya

Day 3 nominee is: Kurian

Day 4 nominee is Kavita

Day 5 nominee is Chandra (a ‘serious photo addict’)

Day 6 nominee is Roda (an awesome photographer and huge critter lover)

Day 7 nominee is Darren (Not only do I like his flower pics but I want to see more of his part of the world. It’s also my way of asking Mel for more fiction stories based on Darren’s Lancaster photos)

Cheeky!!! These are lovely and you made me laugh! I am continuing with Darren’s Lancaster Pics. I just haven’t gotten around to them yet. I have several more.
You are so adorable. Merci!! I love these photos! You have such style with everything! Hugs!

Your timing is excellent, Madame. Just yesterday I took some more pictures with both you and the lovely Mel in mind.
Your pictures are superb, every single one! The pattern of the beach chairs is really well observed, the iguana is cute and well photographed, the tulips gorgeous and the pics from Mexico look very different in B&W but work so well. You really are on fire at the moment Dominique.
. You will not believe this, given your final pic with my nomination, but my next drawing is based on a Fibonacci spiral/nautilus shell pattern.! Lisa will vouch for this as I had already mentioned the idea to her a week ago. Isn’t that another wonderful coincidence?
Thank you so much for the nomination – I so loved doing this last time! Muah! xoxo

Cool! I did not want to make you uncomfortable with all these tags and awards, but at the same time I really wanted to motivate you and Mel to continue your collaboration. Very happy that my ‘timing’ is excellent. Sending you a huge hug. And lots of love.

Awesome photos! Love the beach photo – is it sunset? – and the iguana! And thank you for nominating me again!! Bisous! 💕

Yes, it’s a sunset. I was walking on the beach and I ran to my room to get my iPhone… I just can’t stop nominating you for these tags. I love your pictures a lot. I hope you are doing well and that the weather has cooled off a little.

I’m well, it has cooled down a bit for today (though it’s going to be a lovely 38 degrees Celsius on Tuesday and Wednesday!). I’ve been for a lovely walk in the park and enjoyed the cool breeze and even found the will to start a new summer dress, love making my own clothes but seldom find enough time.
Have a beautiful Sunday, Dominique! 💗💗💗

There are just those who try nothing that do not make mistakes! You have the courage to try a lot of novelties. It’s already pretty impressive. Then, I am convinced that the result will be pretty.

Aww – thank you! It’s finished now and I rather like it. 😊 Now I only have to have my picture made! 😄
And you’re right about it that only people who don’t try can’t make any mistakes! Have a wonderful day, dear friend! xoxo

Already done? Oh my, you are efficient. I would love to have your talent for sewing. Despite my fashion design classes, I can barely sew a button. By cons, I do a lot of DIY and I became an expert with the glue gun! 😄 Have a lovely day mon amie.

It’s just a very simple summer dress, nothing fancy, not even a zipper!😂 But the fabric is nice, soft and light, perfect for this heatwave. 😊 xoxo ❤💙💚💛💜

You still suffer from the heat? Here it’s about 24C. Today, there is 60 percent chance of showers in the afternoon with risk of thunderstorms. Can’t wait to see you in your dress!

Most of Europe suffers from heat and drought for at least 4 weeks now and it’s very unusual around here and also quite scary as harvests are going to be extremely bad this year. 😦

I have read the news. Let’s hope you will get some rain and that it will cool down. Even though it seems that it would be very difficult for farmers to have a good crop. It poses also a threat to flora and fauna. It is catastrophic indeed.

It’s cooled off in the last days!! I can’t tell you how wonderful it is to get a good night’s sleep again and to be able to think! 😂 There’s been a few showers but still not enough rain. The trees are already loosing their foliage, the parks look like yellow fields mostly – it’s truly very catastrophic for flora and fauna. I’ve taken to not only watering my plants this year but also always fill a small plate with water for bees and the like which they thirstily welcome.

I’m happy to hear it’s cooled off a bit and that you can sleep better at night. The quality of our sleep has effects on our health, physical and mental. I could not endure a lack of sleep for weeks and be able to be effective at work. Big hug my friend. xoxo

Most of my posts mention my ongoing journey regarding my debut!
It’s slow progress – around 30,000 words at present 👌🏼
I’m loving the creative writing courses I’ve done, the friends I’ve met and one day I hope to complete it – as an achievement in itself. Even if it never reaches public consumption, so to speak!!

Hello Dominique!
Yay! I am glad that you did this challenge again 🙂 I am not surprised that you put your own creative spin on it!
Love the photos that you shared, especially the ones of the beach which makes me want to travel so much. I am also curious about the last photo: Is this a carving on the wall or ceiling (or floor?)

Hello Sophie,
It is a plaster mural. Mexico was awesome. You will see lots of pics in the next When fashion and Nature Collide. The theme is The Ocean and the shoot was done in Cozumel. Thanks again for nominating me.

Very cool 🙂 I’ll be looking forward to seeing your photos in your upcoming post! It would be interesting to see outfit with the theme of the ocean in mind.

In addition to the architecture and photography, I like the history associated with the creation of this place and the use that is made of it today. That such a beautiful place is dedicated to people in need rejoices me. I imagine that several well-off people have already tried to acquire the building. Great pic Darren.
